I am honored to serve the Brigade as 2006 Commander.  Being tapped for Commander has
been humbling and I have come to learn the importance of the position.  I look forward
to an exciting 2006 with the guidance and support of the Commanders who have come before me.
To receive the title of Brigadier is the highest honor a chapter can give a member on at the
state level.  It is an honor not to be given recklessly or accepted arrogantly.  A
true Jaycee and Brigadier will continue to serve their chapter even after they have aged out.
My goals for 2006 are to continue to help chapters by drawing upon the knowledge and experience
of the Brigade, to set an example to the newest Jaycees so that they will want to do the work
it takes to be a Brigadier, and to have fun.  I have assembled a team that has the perfect
mix of new and seasoned Brigadiers to accomplish this.
